Series 8800 ultrasonic welder is designed for large plastic components with linear weld length of approximately 20"(subject to material). A good rule of thumb for sizing a welder is 100 WATTS per linear in. of weld to allow for power capacity. This is rule is subject to material to be ultrasonic welded only and does not affect staking or inserting.
